Hi all. new here and to this layout of “forum”. have recently started getting into some Gundam etc figures but still to start my first build.

The cheap ‘portable spray booths’ are a great start, especially for small paint runs but you will need something with more airflow for big jobs or rattle cans.
Ho many chemicals do you want in your hobby room?
Best results come from a 2K clear as used in the auto industry. Zero Paints make some for the hobby but they are full of nasty chemicals and can take some practice. They also do a 1K which sprays out of the jar.
My personal preference is the Alclad range.

Can’t go wrong with with a Nightingale, unless you are limited for display space, its not only tall, but wide and deep as well. you need about 30cm cubed for it.
I have built the new Bandai Vader, not a bad kit. Just started on the XWing and am amazed at the detail. All it needs is assembly, decals and a wash and its display ready.
Nah, the 1/32 B-17 and 1/48 B-29 are a good size. A 1/32 He 219 is downright compact in comparison. 😉 Anything that I build that won’t fit in one of my larger cabinets, I simply have a custom case built (although the 219 will easily fit in a cabinet)– no worries. =)
