Since the RG Strike Freedom has been confirmed for release, it is safe to say that Bandai is making RG kits from SEED Destiny. They followed the progression from Strike to Freedom and now to Strike Freedom. Any chance they will follow up the Justice with the Infinite Justice?
I was expecting them to bring out SF and IJ but not so soon. SEED is popular, even some haters say something else. It’s only logically to start with the normal MS to the Powerhouses. It’s harder to do the equipment swap with Impulse since it changes color… You’d need to swap out the whole chest pretty much, in addition to the feet and shoulders and various other bits of armor.
I’m not to thrilled about this RG either. Maybe its because i’m a Shin/Destiny fan, but I don’t think we need the Strike Freedom in addition to the Strike, and the Freedom. Has anyone seen a custom MG Blitz that has the Trikeros Shield on both arms? I would like to make one, but I have no idea where to start to recreate the shield for the left arm.
You’ll want a white primer to get the paint to stick, then the black coat like Fox williamson suggested, then your red then white. The black should make everything shine a bit more.
The Amatsu probably comes with enough parts to build the Mina though, unless Bandai excludes those pieces from the runner, but i’m pretty sure they will include the original feet. Not sure about the head mold though.
On my first RG I used the grey sumi-ire pen that came with the basic gundam. It wasn’t too difficult. Once I started using the actual lining pens, it was a bit easier on RG’s. I’ve had about a 50/50 success for lining on and off the runner. Sometimes you just gotta judge what is best for each piece.
