Gundam Forums 8 years, 11 months ago Painted a few more parts last night. I got home late and didn’t have much time but I got the gold parts painted and I painted the thrusters with a gloss black base coat. Tonight I’m hoping to get a layer of Future onto the gold parts and possibly the frame parts as well. Might paint the 100% black parts while I’m at it.

That’s a nice shade of gold. What brand did you use for it? I got a hunch, but I could be wrong.

I’m liking what I’m seeing so far. You’re using the exact same colors that you used on your base, am I right?
You would be correct.
Seems to be a surprisingly good metallic paint, pain to clean out of the airbrush though, or if the mix just a smidge too thick and having to give a quick blast into the exhaust fan.
