I made a few changes when I start building my kit. The arm, waste and knee armour are totally changed at the very last minute. Well, I’ll show more as I go along.

Well, this is my 3rd Gundam kit and still learning a lot from Gunpla TV and youtube. I certainly hope that I can get the best out of my little experience in modelling.

It took me a while to decide on the final colour scheme for my Zeta Gundam. I may need to spray paint a few more smaller parts to bring out the character further which I hope will help redefine a bit of the overall colour scheme.
The parts which will be recoloured are:
Arm Unit to red
Waste Unit to yellow
Knee armour to red

The colours which I’m using are acrylic spray paint cans as I haven’t got the budget to buy an air brush compressor. However, some of the colours tend to peel off especially the red.
Hence, I have no choice but to top coat it with clear lacquer to protect and sealed it in place. Here’s a look at the 3 main colours which I’ve spray painted.

Alright, I’ve already finished spraying directly on the plates for majority of the main colour that I want to achieve. See photos.
I try spray painting it in a cut out box so that I won’t stain everywhere with paint as I used to in most of the time. But still there are still minor stain spots on the floor. Luckily my thinner is able to wash it…[Read more]

OK, I’ve started with my acrylic spray paint on my kit now on the following color schemes as planned:

I’ve gotta to say that Zeta Gundam has a very good colour combination. I think anyone who bought this kit need not have to go through the hassle to paint it because it’s almost perfect.
