The next alley of parts on sticks.. Someone is on vacation in Gumplaland.
This time its a MG Gouf Custom. The shading of the parts is hardly be seen in the pictures.
On the shield and the side piece of the chest shows the shading pretty well. Specially on the latter the shading looks really natural, like it’s from the lighting!!!
Foto’s are always difficult to show subtle details…..

Haha I think he does. Mine is over, sadly. I was a bit buggeling myself if i shall do a shading with pure white too, but the more I looked at it, the more realistic it looked. @Ryu Shiro, I’m glad you like what I’ve done and I’m happy I’ve inspired you to use spray paints… It’s really not hard to get a good finish from them as long as you have patience and use the right techniques… As I learnt the hard way aha:) I used Tamiya TS AS And PS spray paints and I would defiantly recommend them haven’t had any problems…[Read more]
#WIP: I’ve been really busy with my MG Destiny this week! The beautiful sunny weather here in England and it being a summer holiday means I can really get on with the painting…
great job! i was planning on doing the same 2-tone RG style with my MGs. not very fond of the mostly white color schemes. good to see it will look and work great with the MGs as well 🙂
Again, awesome paint job. Looks really great. Very nicely done, the two tones on one piece of armor. A very good masking job I have to say.
Also like your color choice, but the color choice for the V fin is spot on!
Now I’m so curious on the selected blue color…..

Looks really great! Love the gold patches on the underside of the feet. It beaks the large silver surface. Hope you don’t mind me copying it somewhat on my MG Destiny…?
