The Pokemon Plamo Mewtwo kit takes us all the way back to 2013, when “Pokemon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened” first aired in theaters. The kit was later repackaged for the “Pokemon Sun & Moon” […]
The big release for August is in! The RG Nu Gundam is here and Todd can’t wait to take a look at it and build it! Join us as we take a peek inside the box of this highly anticipated kit (that Todd really, r […]
Hey, anybody on the HLJ staff playing the new Fire Emblem: Three Houses? It’s blowing up the subreddit I frequent, making it all the worse that I don’t yet have a Switch. FOMO in full effect, gaaaahhhhh…
But, are you guys likely to get the Animagear line in? New Bandai line, super kid friendly, looks a little like the SD Cross Silhouette frames with clip on animal parts.
They look like they’d be fun to custom build, paint up etc.
Hopefully, Bandai releases the MG Gunner Zaku Warrior also soon in early September so I can have my private warehouse items shipped including this awesome NU Gundam.
MG Barbatos looks like it has a lot of piston moving gimmicks from the promo images, which I’m looking forward to. I also want to see a MG G-Self happen. C’mon Bandai.
I was surprised to meet a fellow HLJ shopper last Monday 05.08.19 when I was collecting parcels from the post office. It seems your popularity has spread to even my town.
Today Jarod looks at the Dinosaur Arc: Tyrannosaurs vs. Velociraptor Duel Set, a super easy no hassle snap-fit kit. We were excited to have a closer look at this kit because of its no nipper/no glue assembly that […]
Liking the variety in kits you’re doing these days! I’ve been a big fan of dinosaurs ever since I was a kid, I might just pick this kit up! Looks like it’ll take litte effort to put together too, bonus!
My Hero Academia has much better pacing since it was split up between several seasons instead of forced out all at once. (So less filler, yay!) I definitely recommend it if you like action/hero anime!
This week we take a look at the Kotobukiya Megami Device Type Jaeger Edelweiss in all her four-sword winged glory! Our resident master of the blade Dave takes the reigns to talk about this beauty of a kit w […]
Glad to hear that you finished the PG 🎉🎆🎉 and will tackle the MG Dynames Todd, hopefully we will be making up for not having much in this show LoL 😋. Hope your coworker feels better soon and maybe you guys can review the official “Entry Level” nippers from Bandai if you receive them soon with Dave, I remember many moons back when I tried to build a kit with a standard box cutter 😱 and what a painful mistake that was both literally and metaphorically 😖 I know lessons are being learned because of this 😊…keep up the good work as always 😉👍
I have already looked at a lot of reviews on the Dynames model, but I’m still tormented by the feeling that it’s just a mix of 1/100 Dynames and mg Exia …
The Gundam Dynames is already on the way together with the Narrative Gundam C-Packs, the Gustav Karl and the U.N.C.F. AAA-Class DX. It will be a tough decision to choose one first.
MG G GN-002 Gundam Dynames is finally here! Does this mean that Bandai might intend to make an MG 2.0 version of some/all of the existing MGs from Mobile Suit Gundam 00?
I’m looking forward to the comparison between Megami Device Jaeger Edelweiss and Diver Ayame. I been thinking about getting Ayame but i’m unsure how well she will fit in with my Kotobukiya Frame Arms Girls and Megami Devices.
Nice work David, but if you really are a little unsure about the Kotobukiya’s Girls kits you could alwaysuse it for a kit giveaway so long as I win ??????? PS: Safety first. Can’t have you losing fingers and being unable to help bring new kit builds to review.
Hey! As you probably know, the Fate series started out as a visual novel, so you could get crazy and crack those out before getting to the animated versions. xD But if you’re only interested in the anime then:
1) Fate/Zero
2) Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works
3) Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel
“Heaven’s Feel” is a movie series, so you c…[Read more]
You may be familiar with the kotatsu, a low table covered in a thick blanket with a heater underneath, popular in Japan during those cold winter days. But you know who could use a heated table more than you or […]
