Advanced Modeler – Modeling Competition 2013 9 years, 6 months ago Atlas Mechwarrior scratch build progress.
Continued work on the chest, trying to get the main basic structure together so I can start adding the more interesting details and contours. I ended up not liking the shape of the box that houses lasers on the front of his chest so I added another piece of plasticard on top and I’ll be filling in the sides of it with putty and adding a slope to the upper part of that chest piece with more putty.

whats the plasheet thickness your using?
I believe this is 1.5 mm and I have 0.5 mm for smaller details and such.
ah need to buy 1.5 for a custom part XD thxs man
how many times do you have to score that 1.5 in order to cut it i have 1 mm and that’s thick , your model will be bullet proof
Only once, I score it and then snap it off.
I love how the Marauder, Pheonix Hawk and Warhammer Battlemechs were stolen from Macross and you can get them in kits still. =)
