I bought one from the April reststock. Then I was shown discontinued for a while and now backordered. I was looking for this special kit too, caus it is a more slender and elegant design. If backordered you definatly should go for the fox! Awesom kit and once you have finished the head it is straight forward.
Almost 200 and almost 6 years, my how time flies….. You boys and girls got me really exited for that 200th episode. So wondering how it’ll turn out. Only one thing to do, wait and see (pun intended, haha). Good luck with the preparations!!!
Here is my MG Aile Strike Ver. RM. Enjoyed this kit very much. Even more then the MG Nu Ver.Ka. which is almost unbeatable in my book. Hope you like it
Here are finally some pictures of previous finished kits of 2015. The MG Strike Freedom (not the Full Burst Mode) and the MG RX-78-2 Ver. 2.0
Pictures of the MG Aile Strike will follow soon. Now I can start weathering up the MG Zaku II Ver. 2.0 😀
Didn’t get it finished this year, so it’ll be the last of 2015 and at the same time the first kit of the new year 😉
Happy New Year to all!!! May all your wishes come true!!!!!
Thanks! I tend to do an enamel wash before I start painting the figure. This gives me an outline of where to paint. Then I use a really fine brush an try to paint in between the lines. LOL

That’s unfortunate, but I haven’t checked Gentei kits but I’ve seen pre-order prices ranging from $245-$480, really wish bandai would have released this as a parts set since that would be the only way to get that green psychoframe, but fortunately I don’t already have a PG Unicorn , but I would love to put that psycho frame into the Banshee if I…[Read more]
Gentei-kits is good, I’ve used them a few times. The whole P-Bandai thing is unfortunate, because there are a lot of exclusive kits that would sell very well in the general market. However, they’re forced to do it because of their limited manufacturing/production capacity, and a few of the model kits are niche designs/variants of existing kits.
What paint would you guys recommend for painting an inner frame gunmetal, I’m thinking between doing a dark high gloss finish or a lighter matte finish with silver dry brushing.
I myself use an automotive paint, decant it and put it straight trough the airbrush. I’ve used Alclads Gun Metal in the past once and although it was a great paint in terms of spraying and looks, it wasn’t worth it for me. In any case, you can spray all types of paint on the ABS, as long as you use a primer, even if it is lacquer. The primer I use…[Read more]
Thanks, I never thought about decanting but that should open up more options for me since I’m a little hesitant to use a laquer like alclad, maybe when I have more money and experience I’ll give it a whirl.
