@projectx1125 ya these words are definitely from Hokkien, of which neighbouring Taiwan speaks, eg, ditse sounds exactly like 2nd sister in Hokkien. Interesting!

@projectx1125 I knew kuya and ate (both related to the Chinese dialect of Hokkien – ge ya and ah jie) but always thot it was a sign of respect regardless of age… so how do I address a younger male or female?

In the old days, besides kuya and ate, there are some other ways on how brothers and sisters address themselves, like Ingkong, Diko, Ditse, etc,. I cant remember the other terms but in chinese its like 1st Brother, 2nd Brother, 3rd Brother, 1st Sister, 2nd Sister, etc,… I other dialects others addresses Manong for kuya and Manang for Ate. 🙂 @philliptan

Kuya @projectx1125 haha u are too kind bro… I just wish I had time to develop a talent for modifying Gundams like the pros in GBWC and then these photos would really look great. Sorry for missing your post… so which sqn is your dad in? My sqn started out bk in the old days with 2 RAF commanders too. As you probably know, Singapore used to be part of the British Empire so we have a common heritage in that regard.

@Phillip kind of. My mom was fascinated with jets as I recalled and my dad’s name is Harly. The idea was to take the jet and my dad’s name together. Could have been jetly but they found out there was the martial artist jet li by the time I was born on 1989.

I think to sum up quick is this…
– Shake shake shake and then shake some more.
– Make sure the ink is REALLY flowing. Pump the tip a few times if you are not getting enough ink.
– And the key point is SPEED. Focus on a small area at a time. Start gundamarkering in vertical strokes downwards from left to right.

@projectx1125, yea this is definitely my favourite buy. Of cos I had to pay a premium for it and luckily I got it at half price of S$289 abt US$230 (U.P. S$579). This is more expensive than the PGs that I bought from Taiwan. But totally worth it cos i love it to death!
