As it is the 40th anniversary of Gunpla I decided to build the Ver. Ka (and experience the terror of dry rub transfers). But as it is made from the parts of two GMs from 0083 I decided to get another RX-78 and recreate the RX-78-1 from Mobile Suit Variations. View
I applied some yellow waterside to the shoulder area, but they don’t really stand out that much. I don’t remember whether I experienced this problem with the Real Type Zaku, but the numbers were considerably larger and recognisable compared to the tiny warnings.
The RE/100 looks like it could be the AMX-103 Hamma Hamma, but that’s also what I thought the Bawoo would be when it was originally teased as the next RE/100.
I was quite surprised to see the GM Sniper II would be released in Master grade form as it was one of the MS that was being considered for the RE/100 line. This has lead my train of thought to the possibility that most of the mold can be re-used for the GM Cold Districts Type or GM Command variants that also briefly appear in 0080.
The piece attaching the machine guns to the shield is from System Weapon 006 that I had originally bought to complete the oldRick Dom II that I was rebuilding a while ago. I had to trim the Zaku Shield down a bit for the attachment to fit and I may have trimmed a bit too much, so I applied some thin strips of double sided tape to hold it in place.
The second Zaku II that I’d originally bought so I could swap the shoulders over to attach the pieces of the Amazing Booster to the previous Zaku as the left shoulder has a…

I’m a little disappointed that the Thunderbolt escape pod is not on display. Also the newest RE/100 is from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ (which has just been released on Bluray and DVD in the US) and not any of the possible designs theat were displayed as ‘under planning’ at the All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2015 alongside the Efreet Custom? But what…[Read more]
I’ve seen 3D rendering of the FA-78 and was pleasantly surprised to see that Hajime Katoki had designed the inner robot. But I was truly shocked to see a rendering of the Escape pod and it will be interesting to see whether its inclusion will aid or hinder movement of the waist and upper torso section.
After four and a half weeks, the goods I ordered on April 12016 finally arrives which is twice as long as it took the MG Freedom which was almost 33% larger.
Its been almost three years since the MG Aile Strike Gundam Ver. RM was released, we get an updated Freedom but there still isn’t an MG Justice or Providence Gundam?
The MG Freedom arrived today, with a slip of paper attached in the unlikely event that I would need to return it. I checked every runner just to be sure that there were no…

The Zeta from the Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Define manga is probably obscure enough for the Re/100 line. I’m not sure whether you’ll be able to convert it to waverider mode without disassembling it as you do with the HG Zeta and Zeta Plus.
There is speculation that the 1/100 Gundam Barbatos 6th form will include parts for the 5th from Barabatos as well as the mace which features and extending lance gimmick (and doesn’t have the point rounded off like the 1/144 version), but HLJ do not appear to have any official photos to confirm this.
Now that the 1/100 Gundam Gusion / Gundam Gusion Rebake is In Stock at HLJ will you be able to disclode the contents of the kit, specifically whether both versions can be built at the same time.
Its hard to tell at the moment as the description only says that “This item is a posable, high-grade or better injection-plastic kit of an item from the…[Read more]
Actually no, a standart NG release from the line is ~ 2500-700 yen ( so far ) so this costs almost 2x , but you get 1.5 models, so it`s basically a scam from bandai`s part … 🙁
