thanks for agreeing. I have always found weathering is telling a story of what has happened. And one thing I read recently if you want to show it look like it has had repairs in the workshop. You can add parts that look brand new as if or replacement. I do admit I want to try that one day.
And thanks for the complement and hope to see your build soon
This is a build I finished last year of the old orginal VF-1J Max super Valkyrie.
Not bad kit for it’s age. Not as good as the latest Hasegawa kits. Bit still a piece of modeling history
200 episodes, where did the time go. Look forward to seeing what you come up with for it. A great watch for me each week before I go to work, not to great on my wallet…lol
This is my little HG 1:144 Exia that I have completed just recently.
I have been practicing masking and the white lines came out a little messy. But it was a fun build. And am…
Just wondering do you think with Gundam Build Fighters will go on like Yu-Gi-oh and other series like it. I think it has the ability as it suits the trend of customizing that is growing in the gunplay community. It also finally lets people see matches between their favourite suits.
Thanks for the complements.
When I make a kits I try and think of where they have been and what type of action they may of seen. Or what there environment might be like. I rarely use metallic colours in my models, because in the real world they are painted to stop rust. Which I used pictures of real world items to influence the painting of this…[Read more]
I went through my old collection and thought I would do a reshoot of one of my older kits.
This is the 1:100 HG wind Zero. It was great for its day. Even though the engineering doesn’t match up to today’s standards. Still I like it and this was completely hand painted
This is a Linebarrels of Iron I have just completed. I wanted to make it look like it has gotten dirty from a city fight, I liked it and was happy with how it came out, and…
it lñooks awesome, I´m a big fan of the dirty grungy looking kits, they look like they have seen action, gives them a story to tell, instead of the factory clean looking models, where they look brand new, unsed and boring, congratulations, this in my opinion is an awesome job.
Thanks for the complements.

Nicely done. Working on the Appearel Kit atm. And hopefully manage to finish it soon. Have some pics at the work in progress group. Average show, but nice design.
Btw. I like your philosophy about the finish. For me, I always have to decide first, what kind of material it should be and how this looks in the real world. It is all about the surface texture. Presharing is for me a nice way to get gentle variations in the basecolor, cause in nature nothing has the exactly same color all over the surface. I like…[Read more]

If you really want to think out of the box and have a repaired old battlesuit, you should add parts in a different color, as if there where picked from stock without the final painting. And as gimmic add a handpainted stockpile nr. (I like the actual part no and runner code) I will show you, what I mean..
This is my latest build. It was part if the Gundam Builders Australia no paint build except for clear coats. All I used was Tamiya Weathering Masters and Panel line wash and…
the Build Burning Gundam is an interesting build and it seems Bandai’s mechanical designs are getting better. I admit that the Gundam Build fighters series has grown on me.
