Well, i guess that this will be the final concept of the powered GM.
I wanted to use the smartguns but i can´t seem to find a way to install them without hinder the movement of the backpack.
Now i´ll add some minor armor details, scribe more panel lines and fix the seamlines.
I´ll also build a stand before i can start priming everything. View
Hey everyone! We’re back with a new update on the Galbaldy Beta build. Last time we sculpted new fingers with epoxy putty, and thus the construction stage of the build should be over. But before we can call it a […]
Welcome back to the Galbaldy build series! This is the last part before we spray a coat of primer on the model and get ready for paint. There is one last modification I want to make to enhance the overall look of […]
Hey, everyone! It’s been a while, but we are back with the Galbaldy Beta build series. Last time, we detailed up the legs and waist. Today, we are going to do the same but with the upper body and […]
Hello! This is part 3 of the build series on the HGUC Galbaldy Beta.Today, we will conclude the detail work on the bottom half of the body, that we started doing in the last post.
Last time, we did all the basic work needed to get the model ready for the next step: making it our own. Today, we will start adding details to the bottom half […]
Thanks, Guthem! 😉
Yeah, that’s a usual problem with darker parts. I’d suggest sanding carefully going from lower grit to higher, but of course, painting is the best solution; since it gives the parts a uniform color.
My HGUC Zaku II slightly modified and painted in the Uruguayan flag colors. Built for Facebook group “Mecha Swat”‘s “Raise your flag” build-off, where the idea was to paint a…
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to post the last WIP photos of my (not completed) entry.
I won’t do very detailed descriptions, because there are a lot of photos this time.
Also,…
Also, in the photos where it’s all assembled, there are parts that I didn’t put on the model because it would be a bit risky. For example: armor for the back of the legs and armor for the feet.
Thanks, man! My idea was to make it look like an MS from UC 0088/0093-ish; maybe a combination of elements from Zeta, ZZ, AOZ and maybe UC. Also, the backstory is that this MS was a mix of Jupitris design elements and regular EFF MS elements.
Thanks again for encouraging me to finishing this build!
Thanks, Orchidia! 😀
I did paint it but not completely, besides main painting I just did some minor detail painting (15 minutes before the deadline) and submitted the photos, but I plan on finishing the model properly after the competition is over.
Thanks again for your interest 😉
Haha, yeah. I wanted to get it as close as possible to being finished, then I had to use the time I had left. BTW, I slept only one hour that night 😛
I couldn’t complete my entry, but I submitted it anyway. But why couldn’t you complete it if you had a ton of time? Well, for three reasons:
1 – My hobby knife broke a few weeks ago, and that made scratchbuilding and detailing spectacularly slower.
2 – My airbrush broke a few days ago when I was starting painting. I had to order a new one and wait…[Read more]
Hey guys! I’ve been very busy working on my entry, and I think I will finish it in time. I’ve been documenting my progress, then I will upload some more photos son.
Also, seeing all these builds getting closer to being finished is really exciting, then I wanted to suggest HLJ make a video (or a blog post) showing all the submitted entries. That’d…[Read more]
same, I’m feeling the crush of slacking off earlier on. I’d also love like a huge gallery of all the entrants somewhere on site after this is over, cos there are so many builds we just won’t see
Not everyone has place fro airbrushing station. So maybe some tutorial for brushpainting?
Sure! I painted my models by hand for a long time before trying new things, so I may do some handpainting on a future build here.
