Been working on the weapons pack. It’s a combination of a Frame Arms kit, a GN Arms Type-E, a EX-S, a Sword Impulse, and the stock Buster Cannons.
The hardest part is mounting everything on the Buster itself. I’m using the Buster’s backpack as a base and building off of that. It looks messy now, but once I refine it, it should look like it ro […] View
Finished off the head. It was a pain trying to get rid of all the light leaks. Had to build little housing units for the LEDs and then use putty in some spots.
The smallest metal bits are 1mm ball bearings. The bigger ones on the knees are 1.3mm bearings and the biggest parts on the sides of the shins are 2mm (I think) detail screw heads. I picked them up at either Volks or Yodabashi Camera in Tokyo.
That is some impressive work, truly amazing. Im curious as to what you are using for the little metal bits? your placement looks great and its not an overwhelming effect. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress on this kit.

After forever since my last post, here is the Buster. Legs are almost done, I finished up the paint, panel lines, and metal detail parts. Just need to finish up the water slides and do the topcoat.
wow
if i ever made a leg that looked that good, i’d probably just display that by itself, because i don’t think i’d have the diligence or patience to get through building the rest of the suit w/ that kind of detail. awesome stuff; i’m looking forward to seeing how the rest of the buster turns out
Solid work sir, your attention to detail is quite impressive. keep it up
