Gunpla_old_dog

I had been an anime fan since High School, then I joined the Army in 1997 and was stationed in Korea in '98-'99. Being 19, unable to go to the bars and not really having nothing else to do I walked around the nearby town. I stopped by one of the hobby shops and there were these models there. I picked up several kits, one of which was the 1/100 MMS-01 Serpent, (I liked the weapons on that one). I put it together and enjoyed how simple it was to build. I then began collecting kits. I enjoy the 1/100 scale kits the most and have built over 50 kits since then. I was introduced to the Gundam TV series through the three movies that were based on the original series, which only cemented my love of the models. Gunpla is about the only thing I build now, and I have expanded my skill set to utilizing tool kits. My first models were built by using a small Swiss Army knife and twisting the parts out of the runners, (seriously old school right there), anything else and just ask. I may add a kit history to this profile just to check to see how many were actually built, I think it was 50 but I could have been wrong.
