Being a 1/72 kit it is rather small (hull is about 95mm long) and I wouldn’t be able to put the level of detail on it for me to be confident for the advanced category. I would definitely consider trying doing diorama, or maybe a 1/35 kit next time, although I have never done one.
Weathering done. I applied a dark wash, followed by some chipping and painted some remaining details. Then I sealed everything with a matte varnish and finished it with some metallic dry-brushing.
Details painted and everything coated with and acrylic gloss varnish.
After it had dried I carried on by placing a healthy amount of decals, next step is weathering!
Base color applied. Sadly I forgot to take photos of the pre-shading which was done after the primer, you can see its effect on the subtle differences on the tone of the color. Looking good!
