They aren’t gonna to finish use in 1 go, take instant of the NG Zaku II, I may just need the head, gun and axe. On 2nd time I could use the body of the zaku II for damanged head zaku (without the head).
Been absent from completing my entry for a few month now. Have to organize stuff for my new house renovation and MG Nu Gundam RX-93 Ver.Ka took me few weeks. Also been waiting for all the resource, and at last the final shipment from HLJ just arrived today.

Completed the gundam, shield, backpack and other weapon still partial complete. I try to pose it as I want in my diorama…. its very hard by given articulation points. Not as I wanted, may change the pose when Sander sniper using his beam rifle from the mountain. I love this pose though….
Yeah that getting behind the shield look is great, I like seeing gundam use tactics on ground vs pew pew pew in space. I’ve been looking at gundam shields and with the exception of the physalis I find them all too small.
Finished the arms for today, start the leg for tomorrow, i carefully sanded the nub marks. Need to finish the model A.S.A.P so i can measure how big the diorama will be.
Btw, for the ground part (Jungle theme), from the youtube video i saw people use dirt or even leaf from the teabag, is there other “cleaner” alternative?
I think a “cleaner,” but not necessarily less time-consuming method is to make the ground out of clay. You can use toothpicks to get the fine detail, or any other modeling tool.
If I remember correctly, there are pre-made accessories for such things if you don’t want to go that far.
Get the bust display stand from Hobby Japan Magazine, and man, the manual are way too hard to understand, it was in real time picture instead of drawing, with so many transparent parts the picture cant properly show which direction since it was transparent…..
Grab bunch of promotion item from HLJ while back plus some military model to tryout other than gunpla. Thanks to Hobbylink TV kept introduce some awesome kit.
I’m actually have practiced the beginner class stuff, however I been learning few tricked every now and then. Since there is a competition going on, I’m taking this opportunity to see how much I have learned.
Will be doing a diorama based on MS 08th Team, using Gundam RX-79. All runners are prep for a “bath”. 😀
I forget to mention that I will be using Tamiya 1/35 M4 Sherman brass 75mm projectiles for the discarded ammo from the gundam gun.
I love the MS 08th Team series! That is quite a lot of kits to create a diorama! Good luck!
