Ha, I know what you mean. Gundam fans are few and far between in real life. “Oh, so they’re like transformers” is what I usually get. I still have never met another Gundam fan in person.
Do you sell any of your models or are they for your personal collection? I’m not really into ships but your models are awesome and was just wondering what it would take to get my hands on one.
Awesome, I like the lighting. I wish I had that for my shelves. Did you buy your cabinet that way or did you have to add the lights yourself? If so, how did you do it?
A quick update on my Robot Damashii collection. I’ve just added a Leo (Flight Unit Type), the Banshee (Destoy Mode), and last but not least the Sinanju (Animation Edition). I officially have no more room on my shelves. I think a new display case might be in my future.
I use 600 grit after I file down the nub and then to polish everything up I use some 44 micron sanding film. Its a super slow and boring way to do it but it works pretty well.
Hey @Rekone, the method I use to prevent discoloration is a little bit time consuming but effective. I first cut the part off leaving a huge nub. Then I take a small file and sand the nub all the way down. Then I take super fine sand paper and polish the part to a smooth finish.

Yea I remember drawing a zaku in class and having someone ask me if it was from a new transformers movie.
