Sounds good to me. And yeah, the Iron Man color scheme has been done several times already with the previous Bear Guy kit. Just sayin’, not hating on the IM scheme, haha.

Are you going to include some white in there too? The Giants have a bit of white in their logs and such.

The fact that you haven’t encountered much issues to this point should be a good sign. I think the only worry would be the gold where it might become too dull, assuming you’re flat-coating the entire thing (frame + armor together).

Looking real good, especially those red parts. The darker tone works a lot better than your typical red.

So that’s what you’re going to use those products for. Curious to see the results. I’ve just recently heard of Mig products and they seem to be good stuff.

That thing has a lot of little details on it. Would make a good handpainting project, haha.

Just saw this now. Great job on the kit. Clean as always and the Heero fig is painted up nicely. I vote for putting some decals on the main suit itself. Angelic or not, it’s still something built by humans so it should have one or two warning decals somewhere.

Being the first Gundam series I ever watched is the only reason I’m not writing it out completely from memory, haha. I don’t have interest in watching the whole series again, but I’m more than willing to watch Endless Waltz despite the impractical WZC taking center stage.

Hmm, the only thing that comes to mind is Tamiya Acrylic Gloss Clear, the bottle kind. I’ve tried it before as an impromptu brushable clear coat and it’s kinda like what you’re looking for.
