Ok, do we not have access to the forum files period?

If we have access we could atleast move hosts and update the file.

I have experience with forums as well.

What I don’t get is why we haven’t moved the forum in the past after this happening. It seems to be kinda common.

Basically what the deal is, is this. The forum continues to have these issues because nothing is actually done to FIX them. What happens is when the forum goes down, a person is contracted to fix it. So far, their record seems to be good in that they always get the forum back up one way or another. I think the fact that it’s up already (assuming it doesn’t go down again immediately) is a good sign.

I’m getting errors too. Main admin mentioned some work being done this weekend, along with the earlier notice about how things will be rocky while said work is conducted. Hopefully it will be a quickie.

Nothing for me so far. I’m able to log in like normal.

It just started acting up for me, in the for sale trade section.

I tried it again just now and sure enough, it conked out.

As a huge fan of German Grey, I’m anxious to see those frame parts.

Regarding the forum, it’s good news but only time will tell if the issue is solved completely. I’m hoping there’s no data loss this time.

I’ve been a fan of German Grey since I painted my MG Kampfer with it. It’s great stuff. And I think it’ll really give the Banshee a good look and feel. Better than my 1.0 version anyways.

And yeah, only time will tell. But hopefully this time it actually works.

Sounds like a lot of parts to be painted. You’re still set on finishing the head first?

The head will most likely be completed 1st. But we’ll just have to wait and see what get’s done 1st.

It would also seem that I might be doing a favor for a friend of mine while I paint the Norn. We’ll see tomorrow as a few friends and I are making a trip to HobbyTown.

I bought the HGUC Norn Destroy Mode because of you. Should be arriving any day now…and I’ve got the head base to build, too. Dunno if I’m going to paint them, as they do look kinda cool by default, even if they’re not 100% “screen accurate” that way.

You’d never seen Wing before?

After watching Wing a second time, I actually liked more than I though I did. I does have its flaws (bland heroes, over-powered MS’s, not a lot of ace pilots), but for what it’s worth it is a decent gateway Gundam series.

That’s good, we got a response pretty quickly. I echo Zeta-G’s frustration with this, especially since it’s looking like the same exact issue that we were told wouldn’t happen anytime soon again.

Yeah this only happened untill the hacker, and after that it’s been a s*** storm, I don’t see how one hacker, screwed it up for months to come, either A. The IT Department needs an overhaul, or B. Someone is still f***ing with us and we just don’t see it.

Also… Are you doing something different when you upload pictures? Every time you do, I see two separate threads for the same pic, and if it’s a thread where you upload multiple pics, it creates a thread for each picture o.O?

Thanks man. I was excited to see how it would turn out. It doesn’t rotate unfortunately, I didn’t have the tools to go that far with the mod. But I’m happy with it.

I like that color you used and the mono-eye is very prominent, at least in that pic. It’s got that menacing look for sure. I suppose I should post up the head on mine soon too, haha.

For the cannons, I wonder if you can just slice the whole peg sections off from the KA’s and cement them to whatever mounts you’ll use.

you could try cutting sections off the runners and then sanding/gluing them to the end of the peg to try and extend them and show off that head! haha

What I have decided to do, is instead of using the peg the cannons came with. I’m going to glue in a piece of runner into the slot where the peg is supposed to go. Then fill it in with putty, sand it smooth, and paint it. I figure that should be a lot more secure than gluing an extension onto an existing peg. I’ll just make one for the right side,…[Read more]
