not bad for your first try. would recommend thinning the paint more and to apply thin coats in-between coatings. this way, the masking would work better and you’ll prevent paint runoff to other sections of the parts if you do thin coats. you can always go back to it to apply more coats if the color isn’t solid enough for your taste or if you…[Read more]
I’m currently working on a custom build using 1/144 HG kits. I”m using a Gundam X Maoh, mainly just for the spare V-Fin atm, 2 Wing Gundam Fenice, a Wing Gundam, a Meteor…
I like the red, though I think the white stickers work better with the blue. Maybe you purposely decided not to, but I think it would look better with a flat coat. I’m not sure I could call it a Char’s Kampfer, and I think it’s because its missing that second tone of pinkish red on the limbs and head.
My 1/144 HGUC Dendrobium I bought myself for Christmas 2013. The kits around it are 1/100 Over Flag, 1/144 HGUC Gerbera Tetra, 1/144 HGAC Wing Gundam Bird Mode, and the 1/144 HGUC Kshatriya.
Just finished my ‘Bloodhound Brigade’ set consisting of 1 GM Sniper K9, 3 K9 Dog Packs (not including the one the GM has as his backpack), and all their extra little soldier figures, with four extra soldiers in the 4 K9 packs.
The middle K9 has red cameras because that’s my way of marking it as the ‘Alpha Dog’, you might think thats silly, but i liked it, the other three have green cameras.
I finished painting the runners, I used Black, Blue, and Navy for the color scheme. I thought it would look pretty good together and I was right in my opinion.
Here is the kit I’ll be working on for the competition. I thought, being it was new, there wouldn’t be that many customs of it, so I’d take a crack at it for an entry.
