Thank You, I appreciate it. I had seen videos of people stipping Chrome, but I wasn’t sure if Gold Plating was the same or not lol You explained that very well, thank you again.
So I was thinking about painting a kit with gold plating, like the Akatsuki or Delta Gundams, but I wasn’t sure how to get rid of or strip off the gold plating…. I’ve heard of using bleach to strip paint, but I can’t seem to find anything saying yes or no if that method works for this. Can someone answer my question whether or not Bleach would…[Read more]
I used bleach in the recent past to strip chrome plated parts on kits, like on the MG Destiny Extreme Blast Mode. As the “gold” is the same, except for a clear yellow on top of it, the same method will work for you.
Just let the parts soak for at least 24 hours and use an old toothbrush to get the last bits out of the nooks and crannies. Be…[Read more]

I’ve also made a custom Head Crest for my Tallgeese, using both the Tallgeese II’s crest as the center and then after modifying it to fit into the Tallgeese III’s head, I added onto it with the III’s V-Fin and its extended tail. I think it came out nicely personally.
Making a Custom Tallgeese, using the Endless Waltz Tallgeese III 1/144 HG kit. So far I’ve made a custom rifle using both the Dobergun from the Original Tallgeese and the Mega Cannon and Shield from the Tallgeese III.
I’d gladly accept any of those three kits as a prize! I love you guys, I love Gunpla, and I love watching you guys talk about Gunpla! Keep it up and I think you’ll put Friends to shame and outlast even the longest of series!!
Gundam Seed is one of my favorite series, i dont care what anyone says about Gundam Seed Destiny. So please let me win that awesome MG Strike Freedom!! Love the show and you guys even more, so keep it up!
not bad for your first try. would recommend thinning the paint more and to apply thin coats in-between coatings. this way, the masking would work better and you’ll prevent paint runoff to other sections of the parts if you do thin coats. you can always go back to it to apply more coats if the color isn’t solid enough for your taste or if you…[Read more]
Can anyone give me some tips about sharpening gunpla blades? Like the blades on the many exia kits for example, i want to bring them to a nice point and maybe give them an edge as well.
Any help would be appreciated, Please and Thank You.
use sandpaper to sharpen it into the form u want but use a low grit u dont really need something so rough to do it sand the tilted side of the blade but dont do it too quickly u gotta do it slowly so u no how much is gone
Exactly, just like thebanshee said, just some advice to it, lay the sandpaper on a flat surface and go with the “blade” over it. Like one would do with a real knife on a whetstone. Don’t forget making an angle when you reach the bend part towards the point of the blade.
After finishing sanding, you could use some polishing compound/cloth.

The Justice, Infinite or otherwise, is one of my favorite Gundams, so needless to say, I hope Lady Luck and that random # generator take that into consideration.
So, I’m looking to buy an airbrush ‘kit’, I guess is what its called… I don’t know anything about them, so if you could link any recommendations for kits or supplies, like paints or anything else I might need to know about, hell, even whole websites where I can buy these things, I would very much appreciate the help. Please and Thank You.
There is a rather recent post on this in this section. It was by FierceSmurf.
It may contain all the info you need. And there are lots and lots of tutorials on YouTube on how to use and clean an airbrush.
But make sure you set goals for what it is you want from your airbrush. This will give you a rough estimation of what kind of airbrush you’re…[Read more]
Hey guys, I was thinking of building a custom Sinanju, but I need a left handed trigger finger that would match that of the 1/144 HGUC Sinanju’s right one. Anyone have recommendations on what I should look at?
You could also try the builder’s parts hands. They’re static poses, but they have an open hand, closed hand, and trigger finger hand. They’re really nice looking, and come in styles for zeon and federation style MS, as well as small and large versions for both 1/144th and 1/100 scale. When i say they’re nice looking though, i mean they’re nice…[Read more]
