Just finished Hi-Nu Ver.Ka. It was a fun build. I’m not a big fan of all those huge waterslide decals, but the result worths all the effort put into it.
I usually look through the manual to find out which runners I need for the specific part then I only took those out of the pile.
I have to try your method sometimes, maybe on a smaller kit since this MG has A LOT of runners. I don’t feel like filling my room walls with runners lol
Looks great! It’s near the top of my must build list for sure.
I cut pieces of old runners into hook shapes and use them to hang runners of the kit I’m working on near me. Saves space and allows easy viewing of the runners while you build.

Go for it. Works for me. I’l twist up a long piece of masking tape or use a string and pin the ends somewhere and just hang them on it. Doesn’t take much space. Ends up kinda like shirts hanging in a closet.
Lol. She is not into building them but she’s really likes looking at the mechanics. She was blown away by the Nu Ver Ka and 3.0. I have been mentioning about Sazabi for a long while but never gave it a go since it’s kinda expensive 🙂

For little details like bean rifles or under its feet, I use acrylic paint I purchased from a local hobby store. It’s called “The Army Paint – Warpaint”.
I’m not a big fan of the Aile Pack on Blue Frame D. I feel like Bandai just want to come up with some new products without putting much effort into it. If they, at least, come up with a brand new backpack for Blue Frame D, then I might be interested.

MG Build Strike straight build.
I painted on the inner frame details but I doubt it’s shown in these pictures. The best spot you can see is one the beam rifle. I also sprayed matte top coat on. Since I’m not a big fan of the back pack of this kit so, as you might have spotted, I will be working on the Star Build Strike pack soon. For now, I’m…[Read more]
