Well i can say this kit is finally done. the heat whip is a little heavy on that damaged shoulder joint, but i managed to get a decent pose out of it. One done and only 3 more on the building table and 2 in back log (with a trans-am RG Exia on the way) i still have my work cut out for me.
Wings done and this kit looks pretty good. Its the first kit ive done in almost 10 years so its been a great learning experience, plus its the first kit ive done decals on. Just have to fight through this “weapons block” that im experiencing and this one will be ready for display.
How long have you been working on this now? This kind of awesome result makes me tempted to try get better at hand painting so I can give a full repaint a go.
I started this kit back in Feb and finished last night. Total time on the kit (yes i timed it) was roughly 85 hrs. That is not including paint dry time since i stop the clock when i put my brush down. The water slides alone were about 9 hrs worth of work. Lots of time in this kit but i think it was worth it.

Very good review. The RG MK-II is one of my favorite kits, but mine has issues holding the beam saber due to the extra weight from the 1/100 beam.
