You’re not the only one. I see contestants posing their names, account #, etc. in these forums. I know they didn’t submit their entries.
I have yet to see a company-held contest that accepts entries in forums. All of them require entries to be submitted via a webpage or email. This contest requires WIP photos here so I think that may have been…[Read more]
I have the build strike with the wings. Something I recommend is finding some UV glow blue/white clear nail varnish, mixing with a little paint thinner, and spraying with an airbrush. At the right mixture, you get freckles rather than a full cover, which is probably closer to how it looks in the anime anyway. Also makes for good stars.
Not sure if that is a compliment or an insult, but I’ll take it as the former, as that was the original intention when I first thought about a crackle effect with something glowing underneath.
This is my Origin Nightnare Waff’s Ulimate Form. UV paint, coupled with crackle paint, gives a real nightmarish appearance. The bone parts are also Glow-in-the dark. All in all, the final effect is simple but effective.

Cool!Wanted to use those Phosphorescent paint for the RG Build Strike to make it glow like in RG mode, but the paints would have cost too much to take risks and I was worried the dull color appearance in daylight would be a let down. But after seeing your kit I might reconsider using those paints on one of my kits later.

“They say in Space, no one can hear you scream…”
Ok, so here is view one of my entry: Origin Nightmare Waff. Bone inner structure, void of space outer armour, with some leaking fluids in places…
The model is complete, but there is more to this repainted than meets the eye.
Void of space outer armour, freckled with stars, for my Origin Nightmare Waff. There’s a special surprise hidden in these images, that I’ll reveal once the project is complete.
Ok, I’m late to enter, and I really wish I had realised that it was a Plasmo contest and not a Gunpla contest, else I’d have entered my Frieza kit that turned out really well (apart from a couple broken joints that need replacing)
But here I go- my Waff: Mobile Suit Origin Nightmare Project will now begin.
