Well guys after a few days of rest hereĀ“s the upper cammo hope you like , color dark green, sand and brown violet but i put a coat of yellow sand to better base color, i use templates to do the scheme
very nice – masking around windows was always my challenge. I may do a plane model this year – thinking of combo of liquid mask and tape. I wish these kits included two canopies in case one screwed up the first …
I know really advanced modelers used to use a vacuum forming machine with clear plastic to model these – but I don’t seem to see that…[Read more]
I am not doing anything usual with my contest build. Otherwise, it would’ve been done in weeks. I’m doing something different. Yes, it’s Advanced Modeler’s Syndrome.
Ok i put other coat of lights and sand with a 1500-2000 grain foam base , i use water and i sand very gently wind direction so the paint details below show a little, you had to do this no force at all
ahh yes, wet sanding. I used to dislike wet sanding when I was trying to get a perfect gloss surface. I don’t think of it as a way to do a matt surface – so very interesting. Makes sense on a plane with a lot of abrasion over the surface in one direction.
I have a sinanju kit that I plan to gloss so I expect a lot of wet sanding on that one.
Hello again , so, i already put another seat belt and the cover of rear compartament on the cockpit, put the landing gear and paint with black base and green zinc the engine…
OHHH yes thatĀ“s one of two Tamiya bases one to hold parts and the one you ask to hold upper parts of car and tanks or hold what you want Ref is Tamiya 74522 https://hlj.com/product/TAM74522
Yes that correct o simply to show the engine with panels open, and thats why is necessary to make yĀæthe inside detail otherwise it wil be not ok to let them open
Well hello again folks!! these are my upgrades till today slowing down a little bit thinking on the painting process, so the wings are on place and some extra details for engine covers
You could do open panels. Some kits include that for this very reason. Throw in an airport diorama, a maintenance guy or two and then some tools/refueling truck.

Thank and thatĀ“s right the decal was cut off in to a single instrument to put over the board detail, but i have to confess that the decals was of a F-4 Phatom 1/48 that i do not use and like the BF panel is very little i decide to use them and put some of realism, from my point of view turns ok
Hi!!! Engine and cockpit ready Know the asssembly of the plane my favorite partā¦ well i just enjoy all the process jejeje but this is the part a play with the model.. who can resist 🙂
Turns out nice. I was never happy with the fact, the the instrument-boards are moldet in detail and you have to go over it with a single decal. I just doesn’t makes sense.
