I do it the way Ace mentioned. Put down silver paint, and put a clear color over it. Proceed to put black enamel over the part. I did it free hand before, but this way is easier.

Whoa dude, sorry to hear that. Greedy moneymakers.

Sorry for me blowing off steam like that fellas, but I had to get it out. thanks for the condolences 😀 but fear not I should be able to get back into the game real soon lol
-
Hopefully you have a decent backlog to keep you busy in the meantime. 🙂
-
Actually, I may have something to keep me busy other than model kits (finished most of em…still waiting for that part to come in for Loftwing…backordered)…

Great detail. Subtle, yet adds so much.

Now that is unique. It reminds me of a hunter from Crysis 3 multiplayer.

Cool. I like how you shifted the angle of the shoulders to give it a different look. About the old shoulders, if you have two different ones, why not use a different weapon on that side? That might help the asymmetrical look.

That improves the look of the Kampfer greatly. Well done.

What a wonderful color scheme. Bright greens are usually overlooked in Gunpla. And what a smooth finish. If you told me it was sprayed, I would believe you.

Wow, that looks so sharp with the white painted, and the gatlings mounted. Way to go.

Come to think of it, that will be one of the few fights where we won’t be sure of who wins.

Yes. The battle was shorter than the Bloodhound fight, less intense, and it didn’t flow as well in my opinion. The break for repairs messed up the mood for the battle.

Get the HB one. It will last longer.
Quick disconnects are little pieces of metal that allow you to disconnect the airbrush from the hose without screwing it on or off, thus earning the name “quick disconnect.” It particularly comes in handy when cleaning the airbrush. Look for Iwata’s quick disconnect adapter, if they have one.

I got Badger’s air hose because it would work with the quick disconnect adapter for the Badger airbrush. The hose should work fine, though.
-
Alright, the reason I’m asking is because the one I linked in the original post looks exactly like the one Harbor Freight carries except with a better hose. Still unsure which one to get though.
-
Which do you think I should get? And I’m not entirely sure what people mean when they say Quick Disconnect… Care to have the time to help me understand it? and what I would need to get for them work on my Iwata Neo?

This. They seem to have raised the price. Yes. The moisture trap is essential.

Ya it was this one, I was thinking of getting it.
The Harbor Freight by my area is gonna be holding a Parking Lot Sale on March 7-9 and I’m considering waiting since it might be on sale during then. What do you think? If anything I might get my wife to pick this up for me today though… How do you like the Hose it came with? Would you suggest…[Read more]

I have Tamiya’s Sharp Point Side Cutters. They are a worthy upgrade. Get them. However, I have heard the God Hand Nippers are better. They are very hard to find, and extremely expensive. If you have some money to burn, by all means, buy them.
I have the Harbor Freight 1/6 HP 58 PSI compressor. It works great, and it’s only sixty five bucks. I…[Read more]

Thanks, I went ahead and bought the Tamiya Cutters & the God Hand Nippers aswell, one for initial cutting and another for clean up.
I went to Harbor Freight yesterday and I think I know what you are talking about. Is it the one with the Moisture Filter included? IIRC it was about $67 so yea. I wasn’t happy being told that the 20% Off Coupon…[Read more]

Great color scheme! It looks like a de-active suit from Seed.
-
Thanks BG! My pic taking skills are terrible. I used gray primer, black, and silver.

I just looked up the de active suites from Seed. That is definitely pretty darn close to my scheme! I started watching Seed at one point but just couldnt get into it. Should i try again? Does it get better hopefully?
