Gunpla TV – The Wandering Earth Model Kits

Meng Model presents two futuristic kits from the hit 2019 Chinese movie “The Wandering Earth.” In the film, we explore a future in which the sun is expanding, and the solution is to move Earth from the solar system.

The Navigation Space Station that guides Earth along its path comes to us as a 1/3000 scale snap-fit kit. Also featuring snap-together construction, Meng has created a truck from the film in 1/100 scale.

Pair our model kit review with the full film “The Wandering Earth” on Netflix and beat the lockdown blues!

In this episode:
1/3000 Navigation Platform International Space Station
1/100 Cargo Truck CN114-03

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Yeah, been looking forward to this review! Models look good, wish the space station was in scale with the truck, but that would probably be far too big for most people’s households, haha… Nice detail, definitely considering getting these!

  2. The Truck and the station look great and I think they would even fit into a Gundam based Diorama. I would love to see one of the space spheres (O’Neill cylinders) from the Gundam series as model kit. Maybe as EX Model from Bandai?

  8. Please…when you do reviews, kindly try to not keep repeating the same thing over and over, it gets quite tedious after a while. You don’t need to fill in every small bit of dead air with comments.
