Gunpla TV – HGUC Baund Doc

From Zeta Gundam, the Baund Doc joins the High Grade Universal Century line of kits! Probably one of the most unique-looking kits that Bandai has produced in some time, this kit is also quite large, standing at around 19cm tall when built. Unique colors and an interesting transformation mode also really set this kit apart. If you are looking for something a bit different, then definitely you’ll want to check this one out!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Great kit, I watched the Z Gundam anime in the 90’s and was really intrigued by the design of this MS! Really wanted a kit of this guy, which never materialised…. until now! So cool, and so big! Now when will we be getting this in MG form? That would be massive, probably PG size, haha!

  6. The HGUC NRX-055 Baund Doc is definitely a BIG BOI, and I’m sure fans are excited for this release.
This mobile suit’s mobile armor mode reminds me of the GAT-X303 Aegis Gundam and the mobile suit design overall reminds me of IBO mobile suits.

That kind of red sticker isn’t the best for sure from the reviews I’ve seen.
However, there is a P-Bandai version, MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam [U.C.0088], that has new parts for those red section on the wing (so no more stickers), and also new parts for the front skirt armor, the upper chest, the shoulders, lower legs, and the shield nose-cone.

The next kit I’m looking forward to the MG XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero EW “Ver.Ka”. Hopefully we get an MG XXXG-01W Wing Gundam EW “Ver.Ka” and the Drei Zwerg weapon set released too.

  7. Nice to see Bandai has properly developed this kit instead of updating older parts. There are many kits that fans would like to see made reality, or given the Revive treatment. Revive Jegan when?
