Hey Sid and Ryan. How’s it going? First off Ryan I love the tank. I used to be a M1A1 tanker in the military so your paint job looks great. And secondly Sid The Adventadore looksa awesome. I think you should go with the Zoid Ryan. You Have already done something in the macross universe, and zoids was the first model kit that I did. Im not sure now but they use to come with motors so they could move. I haven’t built one in about 10 years. Keep up the good work guys.

Ryan, I personally think decals turned out pretty bad :/ The camo looks good but decals ruin the effect for me. There’s a lot of silvering along the edges. But theres a simple way to get rid of this (but on the next model). Spray gloss varnish before aplying decals. The surface on which you place the decals must be glossy. Put your decals with decals liquids, and then spray the matt varnish. Will look better, I promise.
Cheers.

agree with Ostach follow his steps and you cant go wrong.
Liked to see zoids built next please.

Hi Ryan, you should star preshading and postshading with aerograph, you should build the macross kit: 1/100 Macross Armored Factory http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN977905 it is an old kit. I would like to see the kit on he show too!
spardin
also cant find the gundam builders figures are theon the site yet?

To start, good work on finishing the tank. the camo and weathering effects came out nicely. As the commenter Ostach above mentioned, a gloss spray before applying water slide decals would have minimized the silvering. Regardless, if you enjoyed the build and are happy with your result, more power to you. Sid, the Aventadore is looking quite spiffy and not straying too far from a realistic diatrobution of colors.
Secondly, I believe that the next kit you should be a Zoid. In fact, it should be the Iron Kong (http://www.hlj.com/product/KBYZD12) that you mentioned in the program. As with most of the kits, several different color schemes are available for one to paint, to give youfthat customized feel. A personal favorite of mine is the Iron Kong Yeti. A cold weather variant that can be achieved through simple paint swaps and the brighter color scheme lends itself to the weathering effects you wish to attempt more of.

The zoid for sure, will put Ryan’s skills to the test but the outcome is so worth it, I’d buy the zoid and donate it to the cause if necessary!
