  1. Does the Age-2 have the plastic separators like the age-1? It kinda makes a difference on my purchase choice.

I love the show, Ryan and Syd! I am very new to Gunpla but I have jumped in head first. I have watched every episode now I am forced to wait a week between shows! Do you guys recommend any other sites to watch reviews, or how-to’s?

Also, do decals apply well after a top coat?

    Thanks!

  4. Hey Syd, when it comes to the sticker decals bandai gives you in the kit. How is the best way to get them to look like markings and not square stickers?

  5. Hi guys,
I’m not a fan of Gundam at all but I really like your show your reviews and builds. I just wanted to ask if you could do something about microphones as many times I here more of the foil bags with parts then what you’re saying :).
Cheers and looking forward to next video.

  6. Hey Syd and Ryan!

I found Gunpla TV about two weeks ago and have finally caught up to the newest episode. It stinks to have to wait for each new episode, but they’re definitely worth it!

    I have two questions:
    1) When you apply a top coat to a straight build, do you normally spray the fully assembled gundam, sub assemblies or individual pieces?
2)I have built many MGs and want to attempt a PG, and the Strike Freedom looks pretty sweet. Would you recommend that as my first PG despite some of the complaints from other builders?

You guys rock, yes you too Ryan, and can’t wait to see more!

    • Hi Matt,

      To answer your questions:

      1) all 3! If it’s a model I’ve spent a lot of time on to get the paint and markings right I’ll spray individual pieces, but normally I spray the top coat on assemblies, i.e. legs, arms, shoulders, torso, head, skirt, feet.

      2) I won’t not recommend the PG Strike Freedom. 😉 Sure there are some issues but you already seem aware of them so I think you will be fine. It’s a fantastic kit and best of all it’s on sale.

  9. Hi,
i have a little question, i’m new to gunpla building, im confronted with a little issue, how do you tighten a piece??, i sanded a articulation piece and now it became too loose, and since its a articulation obviously i dont want to use glue, i want it to articulate.
This also goes for kit parts that one snaps together, sometimes it just might feel very loose. so that main question is, how to tighten loose parts ?

Thank you, keep the great work

Try using Micro Liquid Tape from Microscale it should help. I know it helped me with that problem.

  12. You’re welcome 🙂
It looks like white glue but it dries to a clear consistency and it’s sticky so the trick is to apply it on one part and let it dry after its dry stick parts together and it’s ready. It’s not a permanent connection so if you want you can take the parts apart 🙂 With time it’s becoming stronger so don’t be worried when it will take you some time and force to separate the parts. Also if you apply it in a place you don’t want just use clean alcohol to clear it.
    Cheers
