In this episode of Gunpla TV Ryan shows off one of the most interesting aspects of the PG GP01, the ‘rack’. While Syd brings the Votoms kit back out and builds the bottom half. Then Syd and Ryan argue about the costs of model kits. Help Ryan decide on which Maschinen Krieger kit to build next.
Kits featured in this video:
– 1/60 Perfect Grade RX-78 Gundam GP01/Fb
– 1/20 ATM-09-GC Brutishdog
– BB Hi Nu Gundam
– 1/100 MG AMS-119 Geara Doga

Hey Syd, Ry great show as usual. First off Ryan you should do the Nuttcracker since it looks like a tank, former M1A1 driver here, tanks are cool. and Victory Gundam would look better as a perfect grade. And since Ryan is doing Mac-K I think Syd should do something different as well; maybe a Zoid or something from Armored Core. I got it how about the Enterprise? “Engage.” Yeah I said it; that’s how I roll.

yes, would like to see Armored Core V model on the show too.

If you’re thinking of building the Nutcracker, you should watch this:

Basically, it’s an OVA short story set in the Ma.K world, and produced back in the ’80s. In the video, a SAFS pilot takes on a Nutcracker (it was called “Nutrocker” back then) It’s a combination of model animation and some live action – a bit goofy perhaps but still awesome.

Great video, reminds me of Dune.

The spice extends life. The spice expands consciousness. The spice is vital to space travel. The Spacing Guild and its navigators, who the spice has mutated over 4,000 years, use the orange spice gas, which gives them the ability to fold space. That is, travel to any part of universe without moving.

Great book!

Amazing! It’s a true retro sci-fi classic!
To be honest, I love this stuff a lot more than the new “special effects make you go blind” kind of stuff. Good story > special effects!

DO IT! 😀 lol 😀

I vote for this guy!
As for the PG, I’d say Victory too OR F91. Maybe even V2, after they do the long awaited MG of the same suit…

Hey Syd and Ryan, I would love to see the Camel to be build on your next model. Looks like a difficult model to make. Challenge something new! Thanks for the review Syd and Ryan!
Ben
Hey Ryan and Syd. As usual, great show.
Sorry I’m not that interested in Mac-K kits. They look very old school and I appreciate that but I’m addicted to the detail involved with Gundam kits. Just finished the initial assembly on my PG Astray (it is a great kit Syd, it truly is).
Now onto the important stuff. Yes Ryan! Kshatriya as a PG would be awesome. And I would totally cough up the $400+ its probably gonna cost. But thinking about it. Imagine the weight of the binders, that would take some supreme engineering to get those bastards (its OK, thats not a swear word in Australia) to stay up.
I know Victory Gundam has its appeal, but come on Syd. If its a wish list. Wish Big!

Hey, Ryan, I would like to see Camel on the show too. Besides that, is it possible to build PG 00 Raiser too?

Hi guys … thanks for the info on the paint finish … I vote for the Falke for Ryan to build … you could do some battle damaged on it or put a diorama where it supposedly crashed into a mountain it would pretty neat … as for the PG … the kshatriya would be awesome … but as Syd said hit will be enormous … love the show guys …
Aoex
i remembered ryan said on one of the episodes that he is more into building flying kits, so i vote for Falke!

Man you guys are funny 😀 1st time watching 🙂 Just wanted to say that the PG Kshatriya would be amazing because Syd bigger is better 😛 Gonna get my first kits ever in a few days so I’m glad I found your show.
