Now he and Syd bring back their respective customized Tallgeese(s) for a little show and tell complete with a tutorial video from Scott on how he achieved his awesome result.

  1. Hi Syd and Ryan, great new format! you know, I build and collect
so I don’t think you could say one is more acceptable than the
other how ever I have my model/collector friends and my regular
every day friends(models and collectables get put away when the
latter are around)so I still get to geek out. It also helps
to have a VERY understanding wife who shares my hobby. By the
way, will you be reviewing the upcoming macros vf-1?
    cheers from Australia!

    • You have an understanding wife who shares your hobby? I be jelly. The new Macross kit will appear on our show, but I think I’m gonna let Ryan build it and talk about it because he’s the super macross fan.

  2. Face palm Gundam is a great addition to the show. Maybe you guys should give him his own little segment. Give him a bow tie to wear, looks sharp.

  3. Hey Syd and Ryan,

I love the new website and idea. I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after seeing it for a few days and the user interaction and content, I have to say, this upgrade is taking things to a whole new level. So mad props.

Thanks for answering my question last time about top coats, it was very helpful. I have a question this time about loose joints. I have a 1/144 HG Graham’s Custom Union flag. One problem I’ve been having though is that the hip joint connecting each leg is loose. It’s a ball and socket joint, but not polycap,, just regular polystyrene. So there isn’t enough friction to keep it in place. The arms are the same, but I think they’re light enough that the friction is strong enough, but the legs seem too heavy, so they just flop down and can’t hold a pose. Is there a way to “tighten” that joint or make it so it can hold a pose without having to permanently glue it in a particular pose?

    Thanks a bunch!

    • Pop the joint out and then either paint on a coat of clear coat or paint and will tighten that up

  4. Great episode as always guys!

Both of the Tallgeese builds looked amazing! I loved seeing the way each kit had been customised in different ways.

Really looking forward to seeing some kit bashing segments from Syd and some PG action from Ryan. Keep up the good work guys!

  5. Hi Syd & Ryan,

Another great episode; glad to see Scott build the Tallgeese with his vids, definitely a good refresher for techniques on building gunpla. Had a question about the MG Aile Strike RM as I’m interested in getting one; do you know or can you confirm if all the other MG Strike/Impulse packs/attachments are compatible with the RM (i.e. the IWSP, Sword/Launcher, Noir, Force/Sword Impulse, etc,.)? I’m interested in mixing it up with other packs if it can do so. Thanks and keep up the great work!

  6. Nice video , ive been into models , well for 15 years or so if not more, but i will say thinner does soften plastic , so can certain glues , i found lighter fluid for enamel works well , and a eraser to take it off. love the tallgeese and the tips.
