From the Gundam 00 movie Awakening of the Trailblazer, I present to you Gundam Harute.

I wasn’t really a big fan of the orange color scheme of Allelujah’s mobile suit, so I decided to give it a much fiercer look with this red color scheme. As for cosmetics, I removed some seam lines and scribed extra panel lines on the upper chest area to enhance the color separation on its chest. Other than that, I didn’t really do much else in terms of modifications to the kit.
Overall, this is a really nice design in my opinion. Though it is very back heavy, you can always solve that problem with an action base. Also, due to its large equipment, you are limited to what pose you can pull off. There are ways to achieve cool poses but it will take some time to do so.

One common problem I’ve notice from every Harute owners is that the front skirt armor tends to pop off quite easily. But by simply applying a coat of clear paint over the ball joint, it will help tighten the fit and lessen the chance of the armor popping off. There is also an issue with the ball joint inside the torso. Often you will notice that it will droop forward to almost a slouching posture. Though it is minor, you can also apply clear paint on the joint to tighten the connection.

With the problem aside, I still think this kit gives off quite an intimidating appearance especially with the new color scheme I used. A definite must-have for any double-O fans, but make sure you pick up an action base along with it. ^__^

Thank you for your time,

  1. Very coolsome colour scheme :3
    Very smooth paint application too. Air brushed? I don’t have a airbrush >_<;

    Harute seems like a great kit to get. Shame that missile pack seems a tad small :/

  3. I DEFINITELY love the new color scheme you’ve made (hehe). It does make it more fierce to an already fierce-like mobile suit. Keep it up and I hope to see more of your work soon. 🙂
