This is not Gunpla, But it’s Muv-Luv. I’m doing a playlist of videos reviewing the Kotobukiya Non-Scale Shiranui Second, and the Non-Scale Type-00F Takemikazuchi.
Shiranui Second –
Type-00F Takemikazuchi –
Try a Non-Scale Kit out!!! I personally like the Non-Scale kits over the 1/144 scale Muv-Luv kits, because you get more parts, colors, and detailing on the bigger kits. Also some non-scales come with waterslides like the EF-2000 Tyhpoon, Su-37UB, & the Shiranui Second. But 1/144 don’t even comes with stickers or decals to add more detail and…[Read more]

Bit late but I’ll give you some tips which may help others.
1.Focus in doing reviews in your language, some people like this and you may get your own specific following
2.If you aren’t a good talker, you could just have text on screen, make sure to review everything before hand
3.This is extra information for 2, but if you lack video editing…[Read more]
Try to get a hold of some decal softener. Adding a bit of vinegar to the water you let your waterslides to soak in will help a bit too. It’ll soft them up a bit and let them lay down a bit better.
As for the softener, try finding this or any other alternative brand at your local store (if any) or online. Ebay’s a good choice too.…[Read more]
Once you lay down your markings, just dab some of the softener solution onto them and take the excess off gently. Let it dry up and just top coat as you would do normally. Easy as that. Not to be a smartass or anything, but decals stick a lot better to smooth surface so try giving them the closest you can to that before applying. Did I do good? 🙂
Hello guys, Ive been watching the hlj youtube episodes all over again waiting for the new episode, and Syd and Ryan say that its hot in Japan, 30 degrees, do they use a different system for heat then in america? I live in the hottest state in america, arizona, and we have 100 days at a time with no rain and above 90-100+ dagree days, so when i…[Read more]
Different country, different systems mate. The USA is pretty much one of the only countries that uses Fahrenheit (or the imperial system). Everyone else uses the metric system. Which means its degrees in Celsius. So when Syd and Ryan say its hot and 30 degrees, that’s the equivalent to about 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Probably because you guys use Fahrenheit like bloodnut38 said. You can easily convert Fahrenheit to Celsius with following formula F= C x 1,8 +32. So if Syd says it’s 30 degrees Celsius then 30×1,8+32=86 degrees Fahrenheit.
Hey guys, here is the final WIP video for the RX-78-2 ver Ka, showing some of the final detailing and assembly steps. After a year of working on and off on this guy, it is finally done!
Hi guys, these are some work in progress video I made for my M9 Gernsback ‘Chrome Boy’ custom (thanks for the name @cthulhu .) If you lie what you see please feel free to comment and or subscribe. I’ll have the finished kit video posted in a few days, probably next…[Read more]
@big-rich Yeah, Robocop junior is making progress! Chrome Boy looks really different now. I like it. In your place I would use the blue metalic only on details for panel linig (visor, shoulder armor) or small notches (legs, ankle piece, armguard) but not for complete pieces. I think it would interfere with the chrome. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s my opinion.
The clear blue is for another project, I just show’d you out of curiosity. The gun, knee guards and anything that is supposed to be a different color will be metallic black. Acrylic spray and enamel brush paint metallic black so it shouldn’t dissolve the chrome. I already did the gun, knee guards and they look nice! Enamel paint takes ages to dry…[Read more]
