Interesting choice for your next build, Brian. I’ve never built a figure kit, though I remember the plastic monster kits that came out in the 70’s. I’m looking forward to watching the up-coming episodes, in particular through the painting phases and the associated techniques used. I’m also interested in the putty-fill techniques that will be used to remove the joint line at the base of the head (yup, it’s pretty noticeable). Can’t wait to see the transformation. 🙂

Hi, Al! Thanks for the comments. Yup, I built a ton of Aurora monster kits in the 60’s and 70’s (still got ’em!), so I’m always up for a good figure build! This one was just too cool to pass up. I’m still considering which way I want to go with the painting, but I will definitely do something about that neck seam. Hope you enjoy the rest of the shows!
