Fate/Grand Order: Scathach Loungewear Mode by Alter (Review)

Fate/Grand Order: Scathach Loungewear Mode – Available from HobbyLink Japan Alter proposes to us a version of Scathach that is rather simple and yet very sophisticated with this 1/7 scale figure of the Queen of the Land of Shadows. The company provides the figure with one of their well-known all clear boxes, which literally makes this item shine even before unboxing the figure.

Fate/Extella Nero Claudius Rose Vacance Ver. Review

Fate/Extella Nero Claudius Rose Vacance Ver. – Available from HobbyLink Japan With the multitude of figures dedicated to “Fate” heroine Saber, Aoshima had its take with this January 2018 release dedicated to Nero Claudius in a simple yet sexy swimsuit — which can easily be called a lovely lingerie set, if you want. This 1/8 scale figure comes in a cute box with Nero’s...

Pokemon: Rosa with Snivy by Kotobukiya (Review)

Available From HobbyLink Japan Kotobukiya’s Mei figure from the popular franchise “Pokémon,” and more precisely from the Black 2 and White 2 editions of the Nintendo DS games, is the first and currently only figure dedicated to the female player character from the second and final paired versions of Generation V in the game series. The 1/8 scale figure comes in a simple yet lovel...

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? – Sword Oratoria: Aiz Wallenstein by Kotobukiya (Review)

Available From HobbyLink Japan The “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? – Sword Oratoria” Aiz Wallenstein 1/7 scale figure by Kotobukiya comes in a rather narrow box, which is mostly blue and black–and printed with dark hues in general–tall and definitely thin, but perfectly fitting the item it contains. The box is quite simple, yet very stylish, and I l...

7th Dragon 2020: Samurai (Katanako) Battle Ver. by Flare (Review)

From HobbyLink Japan Samurai comes in a completely transparent window box, only provided with an inner background on one side. The box is quite fitting for the figure, and I’m a fan of transparent boxes, so I particularly like this one. The figure needs some assembly to be ready for display – nothing complicated, but Flare provides instructions so things are even easier.

Hatsune Miku: TRICK or MIKU illustration by Hidari by Union Creative (Review)

Available From HobbyLink Japan This is one of the numerous figures of Miku available on the market, thus perhaps just another version of the popular Vocaloid and nothing more. I’m personally not very impressed by most Miku figures I see releasing these days, and that’s probably due to the large number of variations I always see. That being said, Hatsune Miku: TRICK or MIKU illustration by Hidari i...

Megadimension Neptunia VII: Next Purple by Vertex Review

Available From HobbyLink Japan This is one of the most complex and impressive figures I own so far. Next Purple comes in a quite big box and a lot of pieces are provided to put together.

Clockwork Planet: RyuZU by Kotobukiya (Review)

From HobbyLink Japan Clockwork Planet RyuZU 1/7 scale figure by Kotobukiya comes in one of the loveliest boxes I’ve ever seen. Parts of the box are of clear plastic so as to make the figure inside visible, while other are either covered with photos of the item and a beautiful illustration of RyuZU. Although it’s only a box, I do love this one for its colors and design.

Fate/Grand Order: Assassin/Scathach by PLUM (Review)

Available From HobbyLink Japan PLUM’s Fate/Grand Order: Assassin/Scathach figure comes in a box with almost every side partly made of clear plastic. The figure is mostly assembled, and it has only to be placed on its base to have Assassin ready for display. The amount of protective plastic PLUM used is quite good and protects the figure very well.

High School Fleet Wilhelmina by Kotobukiya (Review)

Available From HobbyLink Japan The “High School Fleet” Wilhelmina figure by Kotobukiya is sculpted in a 1/8 scale and was released by the company last month. Wilhelmina comes in a lovely window box with the figure’s prototype photos printed on it. The figure is carefully packaged and a lot of plastic has been used to prevent the detachable parts from staining one another. Wilhelmina actually is ca...
