What are you building? 8 years, 5 months ago Hello everyone I just joined so I don’t have many pictures yet but just finished my first diorama it’s about the original gundam series it took me a couple of months to finish the kits and diorama I weathered the kits but I didn’t do damage because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to change them around

what sort of materials did you use for your diorama?
I used piece of wood for the base then layered styrofoam down and used plaster of Paris for the lower ground and used some lightweight hydrocal for the rocks and then used sculptamold for the top hill mountain area and then used some woodland scenic s trees and ground foam grass and sand I used acrylic paint I got at walmart to paint it and used triple thick glaze for the water in the corner I could used the sculptamold for the whole thing but I didn’t get it until I allready did the ground,sculptamold works really good and looks like natural ground rocks when dry you can get a 3lb bag on amazon for about 8 dollars I used half a bag on mine and its about 4 feet by 2 feet it was a little big for my first diorama but like they say go big or go home
