Canada EH? 8 years, 11 months ago Do you guys have local stores to buy kits from? How do their prices compare with HLJ? I can get mine from this store in Burnaby if I overlook the $10-15 hit (already considering shipping and taxes)…

I used to buy kits from a local store …just because I sort of know the owner and he gave me good discounts (pretty close to HLJ prices, maybe $5 more when it is all said and done). But he stopped stocking Gundams (probably lack of demand) so I’m getting kits from HLJ these days. I still try to support the local store whenever possible …by getting supplies and stuff from them.
I find the lack of demand… Disturbing. XD
Yup, hlj can’t ship paint and such. Wish they could, it would be so convenient to get everything in one place!
I’d like to try panel lining but I haven’t found enamel paints or even the pre-mixed panel wash yet. Should I put a gloss coat on first as well?
Well, apparently selling figures make more money!
Hahaha! They did say that they’re not allowed to send it to other countries but, they do sell it locally.
