any HG kit from 00 on till now are great kits for beginners, or a HGUC kit. pick a design you like. you can’t really go wrong with the newer HG’s 🙂

Just about any hg will do, pick a design you like, but be aware bigger more complicated designs will up the build difficulty…example, the old hguc rx-78-2 or the gm are super easy, but the unicorn gundam in destroy mode may be a bit intimidating…and do avoid the dendrobium (at least in 1/144 scale) LOL

The ones in gundam build fighters aren’t bad either, build strike full package was fun to say the least.

Hgs,hgbf etc…however they are 144.
Perhaps a no grade 1/100 due to the larger parts.
