    Hey @Rekone, the method I use to prevent discoloration is a little bit time consuming but effective. I first cut the part off leaving a huge nub. Then I take a small file and sand the nub all the way down. Then I take super fine sand paper and polish the part to a smooth finish.

      Oooh I heard about that, what grit sandpaper do you like to use?

      • I use 600 grit after I file down the nub and then to polish everything up I use some 44 micron sanding film. Its a super slow and boring way to do it but it works pretty well.

    • Let me try it again. My nubs were not really than big.
