Beginner Modeler – Modeling Competition 2013. 9 years, 4 months ago It’s been quite a bit since my last update! I finished painting almost all of the parts, and the masking tape worked beautifully. Tamiya masking tape is well worth the extra money. I messed up on one of the parts, so I think I’ll have to strip it and start over. The problem is that I ran out of paint. I’ll have to buy more. Do you think I should paint the eyes? @Dlinker: Have you figured out what my “idea” is?

Looks like you’re adding RG-style color separation to this kit. Or maybe a two-tone desert/urban color scheme? That’s some beautiful work either way, haha.

This is a very good idea for a color scheme mate. And you did it nicely. Tamiya masking tape is surely worth it.

Very nice work! I really like the RG colour seperation on MG kits and yours is looking great! I did something similar with my entry. The tamiya masking tape works wonders!
