Hi all I’m having some issues with using gundam markers over a gloss coated surface. Any advice would be fantastic.

what you should have done was to use the markers first for the panel lines, and then paint and/or top coat it.
Hi there, the thing is I used Tamiya XF-2 flat white witch is very course in texture so the varnish is needed to smooth it out. If I panel line before paint it will lose its sharpness once the paint has been applied, plus if I line before glossing the ink will be impossible to remove from the matt paint if I make a mistake.

VERY late, but a panel wash works better on painted surfaces, markers are best before any kinda paint…
