Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. The feet looked bad without panel lines, and I couldn’t use my usual Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color since I had already painted them (the thinner would’ve damaged the paint). I used a finepoint Gundam Marker instead, but it still came out too thick. Argh!
If you can’t find it, you may have to bite the bullet and order some online. However, it seems like you can’t remove the panel lining you did on the feet because it was directly over the paint, right?
Right. But I’m not too worried about it. Everyone’s their own worst critic.

Huh, they look fine to my eyes. There’s no way for you to remove and try a different method?
Possibly, but then I’d have to repaint the feet. That was a pain in the ass to begin with. 😉
Well, thinner wouldn’t damage the paint if you topcoat it, do an enamel wash, and use thinner sparingly when cleaning the excess. 🙂
I can’t even topcoat this thing until the spring! 🙁
You don’t happen to have any Pledge With Future Shine available to purchase? That stuff you can apply by brush indoors.
Not at any nearby stores, but I’m going to keep looking. Besides, I want to give this model (and most others) a flat coat.
