W.I.P. 1, sorry I haven’t been around. Been busy with work.

My items are slowly coming while I wait for another leopard and a chest burst virsago. I got in the original Daughtress Custom from 1996 today! I have a special place in my heart for the lil grunt suits. This one was 2 runners and a rack of polly caps. The legs have a very basic ball joint system in the hips but the skirts don’t move so the legs don’t move past 15 degrees or so. They should’ve saved time and just made em part of the two piece mold that was the abdomen. Making one of these in 1/100 is going to be fun as heck. I’m sure it’ll be one of my favorites. I love the humble fodder suits.

I’m waiting and waiting but in the free time I’ve had I’ve managed to destroy my original leopard that I made back in ’03 and I cut into that horrible boot leg (not going to use the parts in the finished project, waiting on a restock from bandai is killing me so… yeah, I’ll be sure to toss em out as soon as my offical leopard gets here)

The leg has been interesting. As you can see that rear abs peg in the calf section had to have a space cut into the material of the leopard leg to make it fit around the inner frame correctly. There are two pegs on the lower front and rear of the leg that will serve as mounting points in the near future. Thankfully machining out the inside of the leopard sculpt was easy enough. I also had to make the opening for the frame larger at the top of the calf armor so the inner knee frame could be placed. She’s a tight fit.

The foot has become a pain in my butt. I’ve managed to mill away the material from the leopard foot to fit the heel of the shining gundam in there. I’m not happy with that set up. Going to scratch build an assembly that holds on to the shining gundams frame and looks like the leopard foot. I know Big Rich was mentioning he was waiting to see what I was doing with the leg. I’m sure his inner frame was a much better pick for doing this form of mod. My next shipment of pla plate, clay, putty and a load of other things will be here next week. X [

Welp, nothing to do for me but hurry up and wait for: 1/100 leopard reissue, 1/144 chestburst virsago reissue and try not to do too much damage as I work on the abdomen.
