One of these five will be my entry for the contest and I am still having a hard time deciding! I have ideas for each one, but maybe I can get some thoughts and opinions from you guys. Thanks!
Crossbone Gull cloth. It is a sweet looking model, just has some posing issues because of the full cloth armor. If you can find a good pose that works with the armor it would be sweet.
If Heavy Arms does get chosen, I’ll probably change the color scheme to the custom version from the old kit back then. http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN59767/Gun
Thanks, and good luck to you to if did enter! I love building model kits but changing color or even painting will be my first time. so yeah. Thanks again.
I agree. That’s why it was one of my choices. Plus this would be a good start for me since this will be my first time doing painting on a kit.
I might start off on the Zaku and see how it turns out then go to my second choice once I’ve gain some experience on painting with this zaku.
Ah, in that case I highly recommend the Zaku. You’re going to work your butt off to get it looking good but when you move on to newer and better kits you’ll have less of a problem at sealing seam lines and stuff. I did the same with my MG GP01 FB (my profile picture) and it certainly helped in my MG S-gundam build.
Haha, yeah. the Deathscythe was actually my first choice since then. The color scheme in my head just runs wild when I think of it, but I am a bit scared to do something outside my comfort zone. That’s why I will probably do my first painting scheme on the Zaku.

Thanks for the input guys. I actually got a better idea on my choice and better ideas on whichever kit I’ll use for my final entry.
Good luck man! I hope you will find painting as enjoyable of a process as I have 🙂

Thanks for the heads up on the posing issues. Will consider this when I make my final three choices.
I’d go with the Heavy Arms, there are a lot of simple things you could do to make an already good kit great. Good luck with your decision.

I would go with the Zaku its the cheapest and Zakus always look sharp.
I would go with the Zaku. It would be the most unique.
The thing about older kits is that they take a lot of work to look just as good as the new kits that come out

Heavyarms or Deathsythe. Heavyarms is one of my favorite kits sooo. and Deathsythe is just plain badass.
