Some update on the Prototype DOM.
Did the initial test fit (no cement) to see what im starting with. As expected the kit has terrible articulation and have problems standing (maybe if it was cemented and not held by a tape it would improve). I decided to start from the bottom with this kit (well i still have no idea what to do with the arms). Later today (or during the next week) Im gonna start with the legs as soon as i find all the needed pieces.
Plans for monday – get putty. Lots of it (especially for the backpack part).

  As a guy that loves the older models (but I still need to take a break with them), they need a ton of work done to make them look good. All I can say is good luck and have fun with it.

    Thanks. Right now im in a love/hate phase of the build. I think i have the problem figured out… and then reality strikes and back to the drawing board.
    Still lots of fun. And some really good ideas for the improvement from the community.
