Just 4 pics today as I built the Core Fighter for the RG Zephryanthes Full Burnern… Loving the build already! As usual, gold gundamarkering applied where it looks good. 😛 Thanks for looking!!
– Shake shake shake and then shake some more.
– Make sure the ink is REALLY flowing. Pump the tip a few times if you are not getting enough ink.
– And the key point is SPEED. Focus on a small area at a time. Start gundamarkering in vertical strokes downwards from left to right.
– Cover the piece within a few seconds with the gold ink and DO NOT EVER go over a section which you have already done.
– Let it dry next to a fan.
– If you miss a spot, go over it when the part is completely dry.
– One hour DOES NOT EQUAL completely dry.
– When touching up, use very light strokes cos u can remove the first coat with the tip of the marker if you use a lot of strength, and then you are SCREWED.
– Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips @philliptan. Will give it a shot on some of my extra parts I got lying around. I assume to be completely dry you would suggest 24 hours?
I like what you did with the gold looks more realistic.
looks awesome, especially with the gold 🙂
@philliptan you ever consider doing a tutorial on your gundamarkering technique? Your technique always produces great results.
I second this idea! I’m always impressed with what some people can do with just some Gundam-Marker.
Yeah @philliptan, do a tutorial. Go Go Go! Share the talent! LOL!
Thanks guys @capcanfire, @ghostquanta, @superxvegito, @corn-wizard and @projectx1125, you guys are too kind!! I’m just a beginner who doesn’t even paint! Not too sure how to show this technique using just pictures… Hmmm…
