So my girlfriend just found out that I build Gundam models. I was worried at first that she would think they were childish or something along those lines. Luckily she loves them and wants to take pictures of all my completed kits because shes really into photography and graphic design. She also requested a rx-78-2 in a custom color scheme. Her little anime loving sister wants me to build/paint models for her now. So everything turned out really awesome on that front I guess! Like others have said its how your portray what you do and how you take ownership of it. Even if others don’t get it or support it I think modeling is an awesome hobby!

One can’t just love anime and not love Gundam. 😀 Even if that one’s a sister of your GF. It HAD to rub off a bit on her too. Besides, having tons of details, Gunpla’s an ideal model for photo shoots and lovers of details in general. 🙂 First reaction of mine (girlfriend) was: my name followed by :O. And not even in a sexual way! She was blown away by details and the amount of skillfull awesomeness I display when doing my stuff. 😛 Keep it up. 🙂 Would love to see some photos though. Of your kits, ofc. 😀
That’s what I thought! But my GF is the only one in that family that doesn’t like any anime/sci fi kind of stuff. Weird I guess 😛 I think people can really appreciate all the work and details that go into any kind of modeling. I’ll be posting some stuff later in the week after I finish photographing my latest project!
