What do you think the release of the MG Geara Doga means? Knowing Bandai it is most likely not a one off thing and Bandai will be introducing new Zeon suits. It could mean we will be getting a Geara Zulu in the future, along with all its variants. One thing that bothers me about the new Geara Doga is the crummy Marasai hands. All the feddie kits have been getting the Nu hands. When will it be Zeon’s turn. Will it take a MG Sazabi or a MG Zaku 3.0 before we get new Zeon hands? I think the Marasai hands are very bad and I don’t understand why they were made. I think the pose-able splayed hands are cool, but as for the holding things hands, it harkens back to the very old MGs with no pegs or connector to the weapon. Do you think we will ever get the same type of PG quality hand that is on the Nu on a Zeon suit. I was disappointed that the OVA Sinanju did not have them, but as these new Zaku=like kits trickle out, the hands are really a deal breaker for me. First it was the Marasai, now it is the Geara Doga.

    • I think that the release of the geara doga will see the Jegan come out ( I want it so badly) As for how to handle the hands issue (see what I did there? I’m smart) Yeah the hands were a step back, the marasai’s hands couldn’t hold the beam rifle well. but get it at the right angle and it works. I do think the Sazabi Ver ka will clearly include new hands, of course this is only if it gets released.

    • Meh, poseable hands are overrated. The Nu ver. Ka hands are pretty cool, but by all accounts they’re kind of fragile (Syd even broke ’em on Gunpla TV) – and as fun as fully-poseable hands are, there is such a thing as having too many moving parts on a kit… It just makes things really fiddly.

Geara Doga is one of my all-time favorite designs so I’m all over this new kit… Geara Zulu, if it really is coming, is less my style but I would welcome it into the family with open arms.

      • Tetsujin is right. The hands are pretty cool, meaning they look great, but I found are really fragile and actually make you have to do quite a bit of careful work when you start posing/playing with the kit.

    • I feel the same about MGs but there are still aspects on some kits that need more care than the majority of the build.
