Intermediate Modeler – Modeling Competition 2017 6 years, 1 month ago WIP #3 on this week’s episode of “This Old Sinanju” we’ll be talking about neo-zeon sleeves detail. I use a special technique rather than masking or hand painting. I start with normal sanding and priming, then I paint the entire part the color I want the detail to be (in this case gold). Next I top coat the part and then coat in black enamel. Once the enamel has started to get tacky, I remove the black from the detail with lighter fluid and a cotton swab. This technique is also very good for painting gundam eyes.
